Turnaround Project, 2021

This was Proveo’s seventh visit to this Northern Alberta facility to provide Remote Confined Space Monitoring (RCSM) technology.

Challenge: In the second year of the COVID-19 pandemic Proveo was brought up to provide RCSM on site at this Northern Alberta facility. Similarly to 2020, we needed to source our workforce locally to avoid bringing illness to the community.

Action: 80% of our employees for this project were local residents and 100% of employees were from within the province of Alberta.

Result:

• Overall cost savings vs traditional confined space management: 39.50%
• Reduced risk exposure hours for personnel: 43,524 hours

Takeaway: Proveo is able to gather a workforce from within the communities of our clients to complete our projects.
