RCSM Expansion Project, 2020

This was Proveo’s sixth visit to this Northern Alberta facility to provide Remote Confined Space Monitoring (RCSM) technology.

Challenge: Amid the COVID-19 pandemic Proveo was required to focus their hiring on a local workforce in order to prevent bringing COVID-19 to the region. We focus on building a local workforce in our client’s community to generate long-term sustainable jobs.

Action: We were able to hire 75 local residents for this project and 100% of employees were from within the province of Alberta.

Result:

• Overall cost savings vs traditional confined space management: 37.50%
• Reduced risk exposure hours for personnel: 32,512 hours

Takeaway: Proveo is able to gather a workforce from within the communities of our clients to complete our projects.
